At Dandelions we are able to give the children the opportunity to get involved in activities provided by external companies such as :-

Boogie Mights - Run an array of music programs full of fun music and movement activities  that help children to  learn and  boost early years development. We have purchased the “School Ready Programme from Boogie Mites and our team will be learning to lead music activities to transform children’s listening and speaking skills going forward.

Sports4Kids -  Inspiring children to love exercise, movement and fitness.  The story-based classes immerses the  children in the exciting world of imagination with stories.

Relax Kids - Teach the children tools and techniques to support their mental health and emotional well being. Relax Kids takes children through a series of steps including movement, mindful play, gentle stretching, self-massage, breathing exercises, positive affirmations and relaxation.

Jiggy Wrigglers - Offer an exciting array of jam-packed sessions with energetic and vibrant activities suitable for children of all ages, including action songs, silly songs, counting songs, nursery rhymes, finger play rhymes, body percussion, knee bouncers, rhythm games, and many more!

St Marks Farm - As we are situated next door to St Marks School we are able to visit the farm on a regular basis. The children thoroughly enjoy having a cuddle with the rabbits and the guinea pigs and checking to see if the chickens have laid an egg.

Beggarwood Park – We are situated near to Beggarwood Park so often visit to explore.

Dashwood Manor – We have strong links with Dashwood Manor and participated in their Christmas Carol Concert and an Easter Egg Hunt. Some of the residents have visited us at the setting and taken part in a cake swap.

Local Police - We have been lucky enough to get a visit from 2 PCSO’s and a detective from Hampshire Police Constabulary who came to talk to the children and allow them to explore their van.

Hampshire Healthy Heroes - Visited to run a session to promote supporting children to learn about their oral health, physical health, healthy eating and mental health & well being. The children learn so much in a fun way through use of puppets and lots of other activities.

Local Lollipop Lady – Visits to talk to the children about road safety
